Happy 4th of July! I hope you are enjoying some good food and fireworks today, while we celebrate our independence. To help you celebrate, I am sharing with you an excellent free resource!
Several weeks ago, Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy hosted a workshop on the knee, and how to manage aches and pains that tend to pop up in the knee joint.
I’m sure that you either know someone with knee pain, or you have experienced first hand the annoyance of having knee pain that comes from an injury or degeneration in the joint.
The question is, do you know what to do to prevent or manage knee pain? It’s okay if you don’t, that’s what keeps me and other trainers and physical therapists in business :p.
All joking aside, it is important to find an expert who understands biomechanics and injury mechanisms, and who can teach you how to exercise properly. Otherwise, it is possible to turn a good thing like exercise, into a potential danger for your knees.
In the knee workshop below, you’ll see Brian Cardin, who is a Physical Therapist, Certified Pedorthist, and President/CEO of Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy, discuss many important topics to be aware of when it comes to preventing and managing degeneration and pain in the knee.
Take a look at the video below, and have a great holiday!
